The TE Connectivity 69066 DYNA-CRIMP™ Hydraulic Crimping Head is a heavy-duty, interchangeable crimp head engineered for precision crimping of large-gauge copper and aluminum terminals and splices in aerospace, defense, automotive, utility, and industrial environments. Designed to operate with TE hydraulic power units or hand pumps at up to 8,200 psi (565 bar), it accommodates a wide range of terminal types and wire sizes from 10 AWG up to 4/0 AWG (depending on terminal family).
Crimping is performed by inserting the appropriate matched die set into the head assembly. The operator applies regulated hydraulic pressure using a compatible TE hydraulic pump (such as the 314979-1 Hand Pump or 69120 Power Unit). Dies are locked in place with a yoke assembly and latch pin, ensuring secure alignment during the crimp cycle.
